We believe that there is a future where humanity lives in sustainable equilibrium with the planet.

We believe that a sustainable future will require thoughtful action from governments, corporations, communities, and individuals.

We believe that keeping climate change in our thoughts and conversations is a necessary part of creating a green, safe future for generations to come.

We decided to make flags to spark climate conversations.

By flying a climate change flag, you show your commitment to considering the climate impacts of your actions, inspiring others to act, and encouraging public discussion. We believe that productive, informed climate conversations will improve community understanding, drive change, and inspire climate friendly programs and policies.

The negative impacts of climate change are already harming people and communities around the world. Together, we can change the world for the better.

Why a flag?

Flying a climate change flag at your house or your place of business does not replace action. The flag is a symbol that expresses to others that you take climate change seriously, and you think they should too.

Despite continuing evidence for climate change and the fact that climate impacts are already being felt with increasing severity, only 35% of adults discussed global worming “at least occasionally” in 2020.

Let’s work together to create the public discussions that this topic deserves.

Our intent is to do good for the earth, and we believe that transparency is the best way for us to get off on the right foot together.

What does transparency mean to us?

Transparency means that we make information about this project’s donations available to you, the public. This policy is central to how we operate. Periodically we will publish a summary report, so you can see exactly where our money is going and have confidence that you are making a positive impact by supporting us. Where do we see our organization heading in the future?

In the future, as the organization continues to develop, we hope we can grow into a B-corporation or a non-profit organization. Currently there are only two of us doing most of the work and these organization structures aren’t practical for us to implement yet. Hopefully our structure will grow as we grow.
